Kathy Richter is our Vice President of Human Resources and has been working in the Human Resource field for 28 yrs. She is part of our Leadership team acting as a consultant on employee relations, training & development, compensation and all things Human Resources.  We are happy to have someone with such passion for helping our employees reach their career goals.  Kathy is a great resource in helping us fulfill the promise of its employees who are the key to our company’s success.

Kathy came to us from the banking industry where she handled employee relations and also gained experience in mergers and acquisitions.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Personnel Management from Ferris State University and her Masters in Management from Aquinas College here in Grand Rapids.  Upon joining MOS in 2003, she was able to make an immediate impact to develop a Human Resources team that effectively handles the daily functions employee relations, employment, payroll, training and development.

We are fortunate to have someone with Kathy’s background on our team.  She has played an important role when MOS was part of the Global Imaging family.  Kathy was able to work with not only MOS, but also our sister companies within Global to assist in transitioning the company to an employee focused organization.  Kathy has also made a big impact developing an effective on-boarding program that has now been put into practice among the Global core companies.  It has resulted in lower turnover and higher employee satisfaction.  As MOS continues to grow we look forward to Kathy continuing to lead us in this area!

Did you know…

I grew up in a small town in the Thumb of Michigan where my Dad was a science teacher at the high school for almost 40 years!

I have a son that has hiked the Appalachian & Pacific Crest Trails and another son who served as a Peace Corps Volunteer.

One of my favorite places to be is in Beulah, Michigan on Crystal Lake visiting my family and enjoying the summertime.
